Northampton Town Football Club has chosen Rushden-based children’s charity Spurgeons as one of the official charities for the 2014-15 season.

They will make donations to Spurgeons through fundraising schemes it holds during the year. Spurgeons will also be able to take part in a bucket collection at the club’s stadium this season.

The national charity, which has its head office in Wellingborough Road, Rushden, works across the country and currently delivers about 100 projects to support children, young people and their families.
