Flappers at Corby theatre have a message for film fans

Staff at The Core theatre, Corby, went back to the roaring twenties to promote the arrival of the movie blockbuster, The Great Gatsby.

With cocktails and the best in flapper fashion, general manager Lucinda Hill, creative projects manager Lisa Byrne and senior sales and marketing officer Sarah Healy, invited film fans to join their Re:View Film and Book Club.

Sarah said: “The Great Gatsby will be showing in July and film-lovers can also drop in to our film and book club after the screenings on Friday, July 5, to meet like-minded people to discuss the book by F Scott Fitzgerald and it’s adaptation for the big screen.

“It’s great that more and more people are visiting and enjoying our cinema and we’re really excited about the wide range of popular films we have for Corby audiences this season.”

The Great Gatsby will be screening at The Core on Friday, July 5, at 11am and 7.30pm, both followed by the Re:View Film And Book club, Saturday, July 6, at 10.30am and 7.30pm and Friday, July 19, at 11am.
