Five illegal immigrants from Iraq and Iran have been detained after they were discovered in the back of a lorry in Thrapston.
Police were called to the incident at 10.30am on Sunday, March 6, close to the Morrisons depot.
Five people of Iraqi and Iranian descent were arrested by police for entering the UK illegally and passed to immigration enforcement officers.
Three men have been detained while their cases are progressed, and two apparent minors were passed to social services to be age-assessed.
A Home Office spokesman said: “Where someone is found to have no right to remain in the UK, we will take action to remove them.”
