Community training sessions and free internet use will resume at Wellingborough Homes’ Thompson Court building on Tuesday, May 7, after a fire disrupted services.

Firefighters were called to the housing association’s office near Morrisons supermarket on Tuesday (April 30) night after a dishwasher caught on fire.

The building was subsequently closed yesterday (Wednesday, May 1). It reopened today (Thursday) for tenants to make rent payments, but community training and internet usage will resume next week on Tuesday, May 7.

A Wellingborough Homes spokesman said: “We’d like to thank everyone for bearing with us.”
