The best examples of new architecture in the East Midlands is being sought for an annual award-giving.

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has invited entries of architectural excellence in the region for their 2013 Awards by Friday, February 8.

As well as the RIBA National Awards, the 2013 Awards programme includes the RIBA East Midlands Awards for Architecture 2013 and Regional special awards. There are Regional special awards in various categories including projects of under £250,000 construction value, a regional conservation prize, a regional sustainability prize and an overall prize for the building that demonstrates exceptional quality and distinction across all categories.
