Visitors to Fineshade Woods, near Corby, can enjoy some festive fun at the weekend.
A Christmas fair is being held on Sunday, December 2, when local craftsmen and women will be selling their products.
Honey from local beekeepers, home-made cakes and jams, Brockleby’s pies and a feast of festive food will also be on sale at Top Lodge visitors’ centre.
To add to the festive atmosphere members of Weldon Women’s Institute will be singing carols, visitors can make friends with some friendly huskies and children can take part in games.
Chris Andrews, RSPB visitor and promotions officer, said, “We hope people will come along and join in the festive atmosphere. With food, gifts and music, this is sure to be a great event.”
The fair will run from 10am to 4pm and entry is free. There will be a charge for parking.
