A green-fingered thief escaped with a haul including three bronze deer and a wheelbarrow after breaking into a property in Irchester Road, Rushden.

The thief broke into the premises and stole a number of items, including a wheelbarrow, three bronze deer and a motorised lawn mower, sometime between midnight on Saturday, February 16, and 5.10pm on Wednesday, February 20.

The three bronze deer consist of a stag, a roe and a fawn.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or who may have been offered the items for sale.
