A family fun days was held at the Crescents Community Centre in Kettering to promote services available for people from the local Asian communities.
Run by Dosityo, a voluntary organisation run by and for Asian women and girls, it took place on Saturday, August 4.
For the past 30 years, the organisation has provided services for local Asian women; offering information, support and advice on a wide range of problems, including mental health issues.
Centre manager Deepa Bakrania said: “We held the event to raise our profile in the community about what services are available for the Asian community, including day care and advice services.
“The [Asian] community is quite an isolated community in Kettering and Corby so we wanted to do something informal.
“Families were invited to come along to see what services we provide and what other services they can access.”
