A businessman held a race night to raise money for a youth club.
Markus Mills, who is a partner in espressos in Raunds, held the event to raise money for the Flexifun United Youth Club in the town, which is organised by the Papworth Trust and supports disabled young people aged five to 19 and their siblings. It meets during school holidays at the Saxon Hall, in Thorpe Street.
The £380 raised at the event will be put towards a residential trip for the youth group in 2015.
Alison Merilees, who runs the youth club, said: “We are very grateful to Markus for organising this exciting event.
“It was a great night and the punters certainly got in to the spirit of the evening and everyone will be a winner thanks to the money raised.”
