AN entire estate was closed for almost two hours after a lorry got stuck on a roundabout.
The 14-tonne lorry had to wait for a crane to lift it off the roundabout at the junction of Bramshill Avenue and Pendle Avenue in Kettering after getting stuck at about 12.50pm.
Michaela Frankcam, of Pendle Avenue, said: “This happens a lot. It must be something to do with the sat-navs. I think they mean the big Corby roundabout.
“We have a little repair every three to six months, but this was the worst I’ve seen because he couldn’t get off.”
Bramshill Avenue, which is the only route into the estate, was closed until about 2.30pm.
Ms Frankcam said: “It’s inconvenient when you have to go and pick up your children.”
