If your mum is one in a million, then it’s time to enter her into the Telegraph’s Mum of the Year 2013 competition.
We all think our mum is great, but we want people to put forward mothers who have done something a little bit special and should be crowned Mum of the Year.
If your mother is a passionate charity fundraiser, a non-stop volunteer or has battled through difficult times to support her family, or you just think she is fantastic – then tell us about it.
Eight mums will make it through to the final of our competition, so grab your chance now and get your entries in.
Telegraph Editor Neil Pickford said: “We all think our own mums are special and hold them close to our hearts.
“But if you think your mum has done something fantastic, or she is just generally amazing, then this is a great chance to get the recognition she deserves.
“Eight amazing mums will reach our final and one will be crowned the Telegraph Mum of the Year 2013. Voting couldn’t be easier, so now is the time to grab your chance and enter your mum into this special competition.”
Voting for the competition closes on Thursday, June 6, with the finalists being announced shortly afterwards.
Nominations can be made by visiting the website and using the online entry form.
On the entry form you should explain why your mum should be crowned Mum of the Year, in no more than 500 words.
A photograph of your mum is also needed, which can be emailed with the subject heading of “Mum of the Year”.
The eight finalists will be invited along with a guest of their choice to attend an afternoon tea in the first week in July, and the winner will receive a gift and flowers, as well as an award.
