As people may know, the school year is coming to an end.
Schools only have just over a month left in the UK, so most people will be happy.
Personally I can’t wait to get out of there.
But then I have to go back for Year 10 and 11, also maybe sixth form.
But at least I get about six weeks off.
Those weeks will be spent relaxing and doing housework.
But some part of me doesn’t want to finish Year 9.
The other day I got the letter saying what I am doing next year for GCSE.
That’s a massive step in life.
If I fail them then I don’t get into sixth form and it will be harder for me to get a job and it is hard as it is.
But the other part of me wants to end this year, people might start to grow up and people then might treat me like I’m 14.
But is it worth the responsibility?
Year 10 will be hard work.
I’ve choose media studies and physiology, they are both mainly coursework so I’m going to have to work hard and try pass.
But also I’m getting my Latin exam results soon so I’m nervous for that because I want to know if I’ve passed.
But I have to get used to the fact I have to wait for results because in Year 11 I have to wait till August to know if I have passed my GCSEs.
But when I hit my GCSEs, I won’t be with my mates.
They chose other things and we could be over different blocks and in different lessons.
This means I have to work with people I hate or don’t know.
I prefer working on my own or maybe with one person who is my mate.
Hopefully I get to work on my own in my GCSEs instead of groups.
Yeah, I will admit I’m scared for next year but I have to go through with it at some point and that time is now.
