A TV soap star will be showing off his talents on the racetrack at a family-friendly race meeting at Rockingham Speedway.
Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher will be on the grid at the British Racing Sports Car Club meeting at the Corby circuit this Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets for the weekend are £15 per adult and free for under 16s, and include grandstand seating.
Included in the line-up is the Mighty Minis series, which is where 28-year-old Kelvin is competing.
In support of the Mighty Minis, the Super Mighty Mini Championship will also be in action, along with the 2012 BRSCC Alfashop Alfa Romeo Championship.
The Arrowpak Euro Saloons include the 7000cc Ford Falcon of Andy Robinson and the 6 Litre Macros Mantis piloted by Doug Ellwood.
Saker Sports Cars will be bringing some glamour to the racing. These spectacular looking Dutch manufactured cars boast a mid-mounted 2 litre, turbo charged boxer engine and are built for thrilling, affordable GT endurance racing.
There are senior and junior Ford Fiesta championships, and an appearance from the Darlington & District Motor Club’s Northern Sports & Saloon Car Championship.
All tickets include a grandstand seat, with a unique panoramic view of the entire circuit and access to the race paddock.
Anyone who is registered disabled can apply for a free admission ticket for their carer. Written proof is required.
