The power at Nene Park - the former home of Kettering Town FC – has been turned back on by an un-named third party, the stadium’s energy provider has confirmed.

The stadium was initially left in darkness back in October after EDF Energy cut the power because the club had been using electricity for a ‘considerable period’ without paying. In a statement EDF Energy said: “The debt has not been cleared, however a separate company is now paying for the electricity being used at the ground.” The firm would not reveal which company is now paying the bills at the Irthlingborough stadium.
