VIDEO: Forensic students put through their paces at car crash scene

Wicksteed Park became the scene of a dramatic car crash earlier today (Monday) to give forensic students at Tresham College an opportunity to get some realistic experience.

Northamptonshire Police recreated the scene of a road traffic collision.

PC Rowley Adams, from the Force’s Student Officer Development team, said: “We were asked by Tresham College to help with the forensic examiners’ course which includes a practical assessment.

“We staged a serious road collision and put the students through their paces - after all, they could be our future collision investigators or scene of crime officers.”
