Pupils at Kingswood Primary School, Corby, took part in World Book Day when they dressed as their favourite fictional characters.
Staff joined in the fun and sported some eye-catching costumes too.
On the day children took Easter eggs to school which will be raffled on Friday (March 15) to raise funds for Macy’s Memory.
The organisation, which the school is supporting, was set up by Katrina Baker, of Corby, whose daughter Macy died in March 2008, aged just 22 months.
The youngster had Patau’s syndrome which left her blind, deaf, with kidney and brain abnormalities and severe lung disease.
Macy’s Memory is a not-for-profit organisation which raises cash for families struggling to afford gravestones for their children who have died from terminal illnesses.
