A Corby school encouraged families to be creative and held an art exhibition to show off work produced by children and parents.
Since September, Rockingham Primary School has given pupils the chance to work alongside parents, grandparents and carers to produce artwork at weekly classes.
Frances McKechnie, parent support advisor at the school, said: “Our resident artist, Geoff Beasley and parent volunteer, Tracy Jovicic have helped the children and their carers follow various themes throughout the year.
“It is a lovely opportunity for families to come in and work with their children. They often don’t get the chance to do art together at home.”
The school held an exhibition for families, friends and residents on Thursday (June 28) to showcase work which has been produced during the year.
