A children’s author signed books and spoke to students during a visit to a school.
Morris Gleitzman spoke to students from Corby Business Academy, Kettering Science Academy, Brooke Weston Academy, Lodge Park Technology College and Wrenn School during a visit to Corby Business Academy last week.
Mr Gleitzman’s latest book, After, the fourth in a series about Felix, a Jewish orphan caught up in the middle of the Holocaust, has been published recently.
Librarian Amy McKay said: “It’s always fun to give students the chance to meet and interact with successful authors. Morris’s Once series is already popular and looks set to be firmly ensconced in our Top 10 Borrowed Books list for months to come.”
Year 9 student Mason Lenaghan asked the author several questions during his visit. He said: “It was good and very interesting. I asked him what inspired him to write the book After.”
