People intending to travel by train during the Easter break have been advised to check the timetable before setting off.
East Midlands Trains, which runs services from Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough, said normal services will run on the majority of routes for most of the Easter weekend.
But services are expected to be busy due to major work on the West Coast main line.
The following changes will be in place for passengers: All services to/from London St Pancras International will run as normal on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday.
On Easter Sunday, April 5, most southbound services to London St Pancras International during the day will depart earlier and will have longer journey times.
Customer service and commercial director for East Midlands Trains Neil Micklethwaite said: “We know that people will be using our train services to travel around and visit friends and family over Easter.
“The vast majority of our services will continue to run during this time but there are some alterations to our usual timetable so I would encourage everyone to double check before travelling and book their tickets ahead of travel wherever possible.
“We also know from experience that over the busy bank holidays some passengers may need extra assistance with their travel and we’d recommend that anybody needing to use our assisted travel service speaks to us in advance.”
