An Easter Sunday fun day which was cancelled is back on again after Corby Council teamed up with the Friends of East Carlton Country Park to save the event.
The fun day on April 20, from midday to 4pm, was called off after a hitch over organisation.
Corby Council’s lead member for community, Cllr John McGhee, said: “We are very pleased that the Easter Sunday fun day is still going ahead and thank all volunteers for their efforts in making it happen.
“We hope that lots of people will come down and enjoy the day.”
There will be no admission charge and attractions will included competitions for the best painted egg and best Easter bonnet.
There will also be a car boot sale, raffle, tombola, stalls, a bouncy castle and a mini fun fair.
Competition entries will be judged at 1.30pm and prizes will be presented to the winners at 2.15pm.
Anyone that would like to book a pitch at the car boot sale is asked to contact East Carlton Park on 01536 770977. Pitches are £5 for cars and £15 for trade stands.
