Drizzle did not stop hundreds of visitors at an Easter fun day having a great time.
Families braved the weather and enjoyed the attractions at the event at East Carlton Country Park on Sunday.
Corby mayor, Cllr Gail McDade said: “The fun day was a great day for all of the family and I would like to thank everyone who put in time and hard work to make it such a success.
“Despite the weather, lots of people turned up which was fantastic.
“I judged the Easter bonnet, egg-painting and nature trail headband competitions which were the highlight of my day there.
“The standard of all of the entries was just amazing and everyone who entered should be very proud.”
Visitors enjoyed a host of atractions, including a car boot sale and stalls and traditional events such as egg and spoon races, egg-rolling competitions and a paint the best egg competition.
There was also a bouncy castle, mini fun fair rides and music to entertain the crowds from Corby Radio.
All the money raised at the Easter fun day will go towards the cost of staging this year’s Corby Carnival.
