An East Northants woman has reached the national finals of an award which recognises those who have excelled in the care industry.

The skills and compassion of caregiver Linda Scott have recently been recognised by her colleagues who nominated her for the national Home Instead Senior Care Caregiver of the Year award, for which she was one of just 12 finalists from more than 160 offices.

Miss Scott has worked for Home Instead for a year and very quickly built a reputation for not only providing an excellent level of service, but also for going above and beyond the call of duty to earn the trust and confidence of her clients and their families.

Home Instead owner Rosina Darnell said: “Linda has made so many personal sacrifices to become one of the most outstanding care givers I’ve had the fortune to work with.

“She adapts to the requirements and peculiarities of any client in any given situation.

“Every client warms to her lovely, bubbly personality.

“Linda always has the client’s best interests at heart.

“She is empathetic, trustworthy and reliable.

“Her standard of work is of the highest quality, and she is always assessing the client’s overall wellbeing.

“We are very lucky to have her on our team.”
