Two friends from Rothwell are aiming to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon in 24 hours to raise money for the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group.

Darren Dolman and James McDonald are tackling the challenge after Mr Dolman’s wife lost a member of her family to leukaemia a number of years ago.

Both Darren and James have connections with FC Aztecs football team and assist in martial arts classes.

They have already raised thousands of pounds for charity through other fundraising events.
