Officers from Northamptonshire Police’s collision investigation team took part in a traffic stop a week on from a road traffic collision, in which a woman suffered fatal injuries.
The collision took place on the A605 near Oundle, at about 10.15pm on Tuesday, November 5, and involved a yellow Vauxhall Tigra, silver Peugeot 206 and black Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the Tigra, 56-year-old Jeka Howley, died on Friday night at University Hospital Coventry as a result of the injuries she sustained in the collision.
Officers returned to the scene of the collision last night to speak to motorists travelling on the road to Peterborough. They stopped 90 vehicles during the course of the evening.
A spokesman for the police said: “The investigation into the collision is on-going and anyone who may have witnessed it or have any information regarding it can contact the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615.”
