Dog control orders under review

Dog Control Orders across East Northamptonshire are under review.

Dog Control Orders are designed to reduce the nuisance of dog fouling and dogs being on inappropriate areas of land.

East Northamptonshire Council is currently reviewing the Dog Control Orders in place across the district.

In conjunction with town and parish councils, a list has been compiled of areas where either a new order may be made, or an existing order amended.

The council is now seeking the views of residents on these proposals before any decisions are made.

The views of all residents matter, whether they are dog owners or not.

A questionnaire is on the council’s website at

All responses must be returned by August 10.
