Developer Barratt Homes is to build 95 homes in the latest expansion of Priors Hall Park in Corby.
The Woodlands scheme, in Gretton Road, is the first of seven new developments the company plans to start work on this year.
Priors Hall will also eventually have a new primary school and shopping area.
Barratt Homes has an expanding portfolio of developments in the north of the county, including Lyveden Fields and Hatton Meadows, Corby.
The new scheme at Priors Hall will feature a range of two, three and four bedroom homes for first-time buyers, commuters, expanding families and people planning to downsize.
Andrew Swindell, managing director at Barratt Homes Northampton, said: “This is an extremely exciting project for us. We have a very good reputation within the Northamptonshire area and we hope to build on it with our new development, The Woodlands.
“We have already received a large number of enquiries about this new development and, coupled with our range of moving incentives including the recently announced Help to Buy scheme, we are confident that these properties will be snapped up quickly. We are therefore encouraging homebuyers to register their interest today to avoid disappointment.”
As part of the associated Section 106 agreements, Priors Hall developers will continue to contribute millions of pounds to the local community. There will be a primary school and money will be put towards the continuing development of community facilities to enhance Adrenaline Alley and promote sport and physical pursuits.
Developers are also interviewing retailers who want to be part of the Priors Hall Park project, including a large quality retail store, along with a combination of other key outlets.
