Pupils and staff at Gretton Primary School are celebrating their best ever Key Stage 2 SATs results.
The Year 6 pupils achieved a 100 per cent success rate in Level Five reading, and a 100 per cent pass rate in Level Four reading, writing, English and mathematics.
Other Level Five results were 72 per cent in English and 67 per cent in Mathematics.
All the children made two levels of progress in English and maths from their Key Stage 1 results.
Headteacher Jane Dooley said: “We are delighted for the children.
“They have worked very hard, listened carefully to the advice of their teachers and fully deserve the excellent results they have achieved.
“This is a reflection of the very high judgements given in our recent Ofsted report on the high level of teaching and learning that the children are experiencing at Gretton.
“These results are absolutely fantastic – a result of the combination of excellent teaching, learning, effort and enthusiasm by all.”
The rural community primary was rated as good in its latest Ofsted report and is due to convert to academy status, under the Brooke Weston Partnership Trust, in September.
