Cyclist, 39, dies after collision on A509 between Wellingborough and Wollaston

A cyclist has died following a collision on the A509 between Wellingborough and Wollaston.

A woman has died following Monday's collision

The 39-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a blue Renault Clio which was travelling on the A509 heading from Wellingborough at about 12.45pm on Monday.

She was taken to University Hospital Coventry, but a police spokesman confirmed today (Wednesday) that she has since died.

The victim from Wellingborough has not yet been named by police.
