Youngster’s bike stolen after being threatened by teenager

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 10-year-old boy was forced to hand over his bike to a teenager.

Police say the robbery took place on Tuesday, April 30, between 6.15pm and 6.45pm, on Oxford Street, Wellingborough.

The 10-year-old boy was riding his BMX bike, when an older boy threatened him, forcing him to hand over his bike.

The offender is described as white, around 16 years of age, of medium build, with blue eyes and an eyebrow piercing.

He was wearing a black jacket, red top and possibly black trainers.

The bike was a BMX with purple, pink and white colouring.
