A 64-year-old woman was threatened at knifepoint and thrown to the ground by two robbers who stole her car from Kettering Crematorium.

The incident happened at about 1.45pm on Tuesday, August 20, in the Lawn burial area of the crematorium, in Rothwell Road.

The victim was approached by two men – one of who demanded her car keys before grabbing her wrist and pushing her to the ground.

He took the car keys from the victim and both men ran off.

They drove away in the victim’s car, a silver Ford Fiesta.

The offenders were both white. One is described as about 5ft 8in, in his late 20s to early 30s and of medium build. He was clean shaven, with short dark hair and had an Irish accent. He was wearing a dark jacket, white shirt and dark trousers.

The second man is described as about 5ft 8in, in his early twenties, of medium build and clean shaven. He was wearing a light-coloured top and grey trousers.
