A robbery victim awoke by a lake in Northamptonshire five hours after offenders knocked her unconscious and stole her two mobile phones.
Northamptonshire Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery at Delapre Abbey Lake, near to Ransome Road, at about 9pm on Sunday, July 19.
The victim was sat alone by the lake, to the rear of Delapre Abbey, when she heard some rustling in the bushes about 12 metres away.
A police spokesperson said the woman then stood and turned, but was unable to recall anything further after this point, until approximately five hours later, when she was awoken.
The victim discovered that she had swelling to the left side of her jaw and was missing two mobile phones.
