Witnesses sought to reported assault near pub in Northamptonshire town centre

A 32-year-old man who lost consciousness in a Northamptonshire town centre believes he may have been the victim of an assault.

The man had been out with friends in a pub in Abington Square, Northampton, on Thursday, March 17.

The next thing he remembers is coming round in the street with pain in his head and without his coat or mobile phones. He believes he was assaulted and Northamptonshire Police is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

It took place between 11.30pm and 11.45pm on the Wellingborough Road, Abington Square.
