Thieves stole 50 empty aluminium storage drums from a business in Orion Way, Kettering, between 8.45am and 9.05am today (Thursday).

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: “Drums such as these are usually disposed of as hazardous waste, as they may contain leftover residue of chemical adhesive which can cause minor irritation if inhaled or in contact with the skin.”

The containers are marked with a ‘Hazchem’ label and the product name is Sika Sense 4300HV.

The offenders are described as two white men in a white or pale blue Iveco box van. The vehicle was driven off in the direction of Pytchley.
