Thieves ransack Corby house after smashing patio door

Thieves smashed a patio door before ransacking the ground floor of a Corby house.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary which took place between 10pm on Thursday, March 21, and 2.30pm on Friday, March 22.

A police spokesman said: “The patio door of a house in Westfields Road, Corby, was smashed and the ground floor searched.

“The garden shed was also broken into and items moved.”
