Five teenagers and one man have been charged over mass brawl in McDonald’s that left one victim fighting for his life in hospital.
Two brothers aged 15 and 19 from Wellingborough, an 18-year-old girl from Wellingborough, and three men from Raunds, two aged 18 and one 20, will appear at Wellingborough Magistrates Court next month over the fight in the Raunds restaurant in the early hours of June 5 last year.
The 19-year-old from Wellingborough spent several days undgoing specialist treatment for head injuries sustained in the fight at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after his brain swelled.
A dozen people were arrested after the fight at the London Road restaurant. The six were charged last weekend after a year-long investigation.
The 15-year-old is charged with affray and violent disorder, the 19-year-old with violent disorder, the 18-year-old girl with affray and the 20-year-old with violent disorder and GBH.
One of the 18-year-olds from Raunds is charged with violent disorder and burglary, the other with affray.
