Seven appear in court over drug offences

Six men and one woman appeared before magistrates charged with drugs offences.

The men and woman, appeared at Kettering Magistrates Court on Wednesday, February 6, and were all remanded into custody, to appear before Northampton Crown Court on Friday, April 5.

They were charged with the following offences:

Leon Spencer, aged 31 from Stream Bank Close, Wellingborough, charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs, and an offence of possession of criminal property.

Liam Lawless, aged 25, from Lancaster Road, Kettering, charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs.

Daniel Brown, aged 30 from Great Park Street, Wellingborough, charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs.

Lee Brown, aged 32 from Shakespeare Road, Wellingborough, charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

Colin Villiers, aged 49 from Tresham Street, Kettering, charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

Codie Swain, aged 20 from Finedon Road, Wellingborough, charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs and two offences of possession of criminal property.

Simon Hodges, aged 33 from Mears Ashby Road, Wellingborough, charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and two firearms offences - possession of firearm ammunition and possession of an air weapon.

The defendants were arrested on between June and September 2012, following a number of warrants that were executed in Kettering and Wellingborough.
