Two women attacked another woman and tried to steal her jewellery.

The victim was walking along Rockingham Road, Corby, between 3.30pm and 3.45pm on Wednesday, August 7, when she was approached by two women who began talking to her.

The women then ripped a necklace from the victim’s neck.

A struggle took place and the victim grabbed back her necklace.

The offenders then left in an old red Vauxhall car and went towards the Old Village.

The first offender was an Asian woman, aged 28 to 30, of medium build, with shoulder-length black hair which was in a pony tail.

She was wearing a sky blue top and baggy black trousers.

The second woman was also Asian, aged between 50 and 55, of medium to large build, with black hair worn in a bun.

She was wearing a light brown sari.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
