Police are keen to trace five people captured on CCTV near to the scene of an arson attack at a builders yard in Rushden.

A building in the yard of Deejack Builders in Francis Court, Norris Way, Rushden, was in the process of being built when a fire was started there deliberately on Saturday, March 9, between 10.45pm and 11.45pm.

A police spokesman said: “It is believed that offenders ignited some insulation material, and the fire that resulted caused the walls and floor to collapse.

“CCTV reveals five people on pedal cycles riding towards the building.

“They are seen cycling away shortly before the fire was reported.”
