Police are hunting for a thief who stole chocolates from a BP service station in Northamptonshire.

The theft happened at the petrol station in Abington Avenue, Northampton, about 9.45pm on Saturday, April 30.

A man was seen taking boxes of chocolates off the shelf, putting them in a bag and leaving the shop without paying for the items.

He was white, about 5ft 11in and slim.

He was wearing a grey hooded top, a navy blue jacket, blue jeans and blue trainers and was carrying a grey bag.

He was balding, had a light brown beard and spoke with an Eastern European accent.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, should contact Northamptonshire Police on 101.
