A man was forced to hand over his Armani watch during a robbery in Kettering.

The 25-year-old victim was walking home along the Headlands after a night out in Kettering town centre when he was approached by two men walking out of Glebe Avenue.

They demanded he hand over his mobile phone, but when he said he did not have one they told him to hand over his watch.

The robbers took his Armani watch before leaving the scene.

The watch had a silver strap with a black face and diamonds representing each number.

A police spokesman said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have been offered the watch or knows anyone who has recently come into possession of a similar watch.”

The robbers are both black men.

One of the men is in his early twenties, about 5ft 10in and wore a dark coloured hooded top.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft at about 11.30pm on Friday, May 17.
