A pedestrian was hit by a motorcyclist who failed to stop after the collision.

The 21-year-old man was walking with a friend along Archangel Road, Camp Hill, Northampton, at about 12.45pm on Friday, March 6, when he was struck by a motorbike.

He was hit on the left leg and fell to the ground, hitting his head.

The rider of the bike turned around, but drove away from the scene.

The injured man was taken to Northampton General Hospital.

The bike rider wore a black helmet with a visor and a dark jacket. His bike was dark coloured.

Witnesses, or anyone who knows anything about this incident, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
