Police are investigating the death of a 60-year-old Rushden man, who died on Sunday, September 21, at University Hospital, Coventry, after being in a collision in the Splash swimming pool car park in Station Road, Rushden.

The incident took place at 00.15am on Saturday, September 20, and the man died in hospital the following evening.

A 25-year-old man from London has been arrested and is currently being questioned in custody.

Officers would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the collision. They are also asking anybody who was in the area of the Splash swimming pool around the time of the incident to get in touch.
