Large amount of jewellery stolen from house in Northamptonshire

Burglars stole a large amount of jewellery from a house in Northamptonshire after breaking in to the property through a rear window.

The property in Derwent Drive, Kings Heath, in Northampton was broken into sometime between 10am on Friday, July 24, and 6.30pm on Thursday, August 6.

After breaking in through a rear kitchen window, the thieves took a range of items including two pocket watches, three gold rings and 10 gold chains.

One of the pocket watches was engraved and was of strong sentimental value.
