A teenager who set fire to a Kettering house after she stole the house keys has avoided being sent to prison.

Mica Clayton, 19, from Spring Rise in Kettering, appeared at Northampton Crown Court last Friday where she pleaded guilty to arson after setting fire to a bedroom of the home in Boddington Road last June.

She was given a prison sentence of two years, suspended for two years.
