POLICE are appealing witnesses following two burglaries, which they believe may be linked.

One of the burglaries happened between 11.30pm on Monday, February 17, and 7.20am on Tuesday, February 18, at a house in Broadlands, Pitsford. Offenders broke in through a ground floor window and stole various items including handbags and cash.

Officers believe this is linked to a burglary at another property in nearby Manor Road, which thieves broke into between 1am and 7am. They took various items, including a handbag and a set of car keys to a white Audi A3, which they also stole.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
