A gang of four men forced their way inside a Desborough supermarket before making off with cigarettes.

The break-in happened just before midnight on Thursday, April 3, at the Co-op in Braybrooke Road, Desborough.

The gang are all described as white men wearing balaclavas.

One was 5ft 10in with a medium to heavy build, another 5ft 6in with a slim to medium build, possibly carrying a sledgehammer.

Another had a heavy build and was carrying what looked like a crowbar, and the fourth was about 6ft with a slim to medium build and light or ginger hair.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
