A 45-year-old man was assaulted after challenging a group of drinkers in Kettering.

The victim challenged the men, who were drinking in a parking area in Prince Court, Princes Street, and throwing beer cans on to the floor.

The men knocked the victim to the floor and assaulted him, leaving him with facial injuries.

The attack took place some time between 5.45pm and 6pm on Sunday, January 4.

The three offenders were white and in their 20s. One was wearing a hooded top.

They are believed to have been speaking with Polish accents.
