Driver failed to stop after driving over pedestrian’s foot in Kettering

A pedestrian was left with a broken ankle after a passing car ran over her foot in Kettering this morning and failed to stop.

Northamptonshire Police is calling for witnesses to the incident in Bath Road, Kettering, which happened today (Friday, May 15) between 8am and 8.30am at the junction of North Park Drive.

A police spokesperson said: “A pedestrian stepped off the pavement and had her foot ran over by a passing car, causing a suspected broken ankle.”

The car involved was blue and the driver did not stop at the scene.
