Burglars broke into a Higham Ferrers house while the occupants slept, then stole their car.

The property in Handcross Way was broken into some time between 1.30am and 7am on Thursday, March 19.

Inside the property, the thieves took a number of objects, including a handbag, pieces of jewellery, keys, a mobile phone and an iPod.

They then took a black Renault Clio, registration SV03 XBM, which was parked outside.

Witnesses, or anyone who is offered this car for sale, can call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
