A new scheme aimed at cracking down on town centre crime has been launched at the Swansgate Centre in Wellingborough.
It is hoped the new initiative, launched today, will help reduce crime in retail areas of the town, as well as ensuring the shopping centre is a safe place for visitors to go.
Police have said those who sign up to the scheme will help contribute to putting a stop to ongoing criminal activity in the shopping centre.
Sergeant Sharan Wildman said: “This is another step towards making Wellingborough town centre a safer place to visit.”
She added: “It is part of the ongoing work between police and Swansgate shopping centre.”
